IFMGA GUIDE BJØRN KRUSE

Bjørn Kruse (1974), originally from Sweden but lived in Norway since 2000. Moved to Isfjorden in 2012 and have been a certified IFMGA guide since 2015. He has guided groups all over the world incl Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spitzbergen, Corsica, USA and Japan. However, with a base in beautiful Romsdal he spend most of his yearly work guiding guests in western Norway, either on skis or climbing some Norwegian classics such as Romsdalshorn, Vengetindtraversen, Kvanndalstind, Store Skagastølstind or Austabotntind. In winter his main areas are of course Romsdal and Sunnmøre, but he also spend some weeks every winter in areas as Lofoten, Tromsø and Finnmark. During summer he visit the alps for a couple of weeks every year where Mt Blanc, Matterhorn or other beautiful summits or ridges are on the program. With a big passion for the outdoors almost all sparetime is spend in the mountains or at his small cabin in Bohuslän. He is a the father of three, a hobby photograper, an instructor in the Norwegian IFMGA education program (NORTIND) and a drummer in the local big Band. I am also the founder and co-owner of the two companies Romsdal Lodge AS (est.2011) & Guide Romsdal (IFMGA guide company), which I run together with my wife and a strong crew of people.
